Rothman Sworn in as New State Representative for the 87th Legislative District
HARRISBURG – Greg Rothman of Cumberland County was formally sworn into office today as the new representative for the 87th Legislative District. Rothman, who won a special election for the seat earlier this month, was elected following the resignation of Rep. Glenn Grell (R-Cumberland).

“I am excited to bring my experiences as a business owner to the General Assembly. High taxes and out-of-control spending are hurting businesses across the Commonwealth. We must demonstrate fiscal responsibility while ensuring we support the core functions of government. That is what I intend to do as a State Representative,” said Rothman.

Rothman is a lifelong resident of Cumberland County. Prior to his election, Rothman served as president and CEO of RSR REALTORS. He served in the Marine Corps Reserve for nearly a decade, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant before receiving an Honorable Discharge in 2001. Rothman served his local community as a Trustee of Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Harrisburg.

“I look forward to working with my fellow legislators on the many challenges facing our Commonwealth. I encourage residents who have questions or concerns about state government to contact my office. I am dedicated to providing my constituents the highest level of service,” said Rothman.

Rothman invites constituents to stop by his district office, which is located at 5521 Carlisle Pike, Suite 2-D, in Mechanicsburg and can be reached by calling 717-795-6091.
