Bloom, Rothman to Host Joint Town Hall Meeting
HARRISBURG – State Reps. Stephen Bloom (R-199) and Greg Rothman (R-87) will host a joint town hall meeting for residents of the 199th and 87th Legislative Districts on Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m. The event will take place at the Silver Spring Township Building, located at 8 Flowers Dr., Mechanicsburg.

“Town hall meetings are a great give-and-take experience,” said Bloom. “They provide us with an opportunity to update citizens about what’s going on in Harrisburg, but more importantly, they give local families, employers and others a chance to raise concerns or ask questions.”

Bloom and Rothman chose to have the town hall at the Silver Spring Township Building as they each represent different portions of the township. All residents of the 199th and 87th Districts are invited to attend.

“As the House discusses issues that impact our local communities, we work as representatives of the people,” said Rothman. “I appreciate the opportunity to discuss the issues and hear the concerns of the citizens.”

In addition to a legislative update, the meeting will feature an open conversation where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and further discuss other state-related issues.

Residents interested in attending the joint town hall meeting are asked to RSVP in advance. To register, complete the electronic form at or Residents can also register by calling Bloom’s office at 249-1990, or Rothman’s office at 975-2235.
