Rothman Invites Residents to Gun Rights and Safety Event
CAMP HILL – State Rep. Greg Rothman (R-Cumberland) is inviting residents form the 87th District in Cumberland County to join him at a seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 6-8 p.m. at the East Pennsboro Township Building to learn about gun owners’ rights and gun safety tips.
“We have a proud tradition of standing up for the Second Amendment in Pennsylvania,” Rothman said. “Owning a gun carries with it some very important rights as well as some responsibilities. This seminar will provide local gun owners with information so they understand their rights under Pennsylvania law.”
Cumberland County Sheriff Ron Anderson will be there to provide information about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws.
East Pennsboro Police Chief Todd Bashore and East Pennsboro Police Lt. Mark Green will discuss gun safety tips.
Cumberland County District Attorney David Freed will talk about legal issues related to Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine law.
Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with presenters during a question-and-answer session.
“I really appreciate these local law enforcement personnel taking time out of their schedules to share their knowledge and experience with members of our community,” Rothman said.
Residents must pre-register to attend the seminar either by visiting Rothman’s website at RepRothman.com
and clicking on the RSVP link in the center of the top of the page, or by calling his district office at 717-975-2235. Seating for the event is limited.
