WHAT: Officials from Pennsylvania and New Jersey will urge military leaders to select Philadelphia and both banks of the Delaware River for the main celebration of the 250th birthdays of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps in fall 2025.

WHO: Rep. Greg Rothman, Sen. Devlin J. Robinson, Philadelphia leaders, and volunteers and veterans with Homecoming 250 Navy Marine Corps.

WHEN: Friday, July 9, at 10 a.m.

WHERE: Cruiser Olympia at Independence Seaport Museum, 211 S. Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Limited parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Lombard Street Parking Lot (401 S. Columbus Blvd.). Weather and schedule permitting, a fireboat water display and gun salute from the Battleship New Jersey will provide visuals to accompany the press conference.
